In May of 2017, the Lac La Ronge Indian band (LLRIB) did a questionnaire for each community including: La Ronge, Grandmother’s Bay, Sucker River, Stanley Mission and Morin Lake Reserve (Hall Lake). Many youth were involved in the survey taking and covered much of each community. There was also an online version and forms were carried to the various Treaty Day events in the communities involved.
A third round of meetings in each community was scheduled, including; La Ronge, Grandmother’s Bay, Sucker River, Stanley Mission and Morin Lake Reserve (Hall Lake), between June 8 to June 27. The results of the questionnaire was presented at the community meetings and a question and answer period commenced afterward. A meal was provided at the beginning of the meetings and many great door prizes drawn after the meetings.
Here is a photo gallery of the results that were presented.
